    Knocked off rudder need replacement

I was going down the river and hit a stump and knocked off the rudder clean at the cupling (pictures) I want to replace, how hard of a job would this be for me to fix myself?

SANTE 236 Need help can anyone give me some ideas. Nothing hit the prop and strut or drive shaft seemingly, stump broke the rudder and steering is still intact. Is this something i need to take to the dealer or can i order a part and do it myself?

Other than being hard to get to, It was rather simple on my 06 210, don't remember the specifics, but removed the safety wire, loosened clamp bolt, loosened jam nut(maybe) and the rudder post slid out....easy install also, used some blocking to hold up the new rudder in position. Be sure and grease before install.

I know a shop that had a brand new rudder from Nautiqueparts . Give me a text and I will let you know if he still has it. 678-227-8833
