    03 SANTE 210 quit cranking

Just finished repairing a completely destroyed impeller and prepped my engine for salt.

Doused everything in wd40 yesterday and engine refused to crank. I then tried to cycle the throttle and return to neutral and voila. fired right up repeatedly.

Today, I installed a flush kit and coated everything with a thicker corrosion inhibitor that left a yellowish brownish waxy film. Its tested to resist salt corrosion better than anything else

NOW, the engine refuses to crank entirely. Pressing the button does nothing. I can hear a faint tiny little click under/behind the dash and nothing else

There IS a beep every 5-10 seconds or so. I cannot see any codes or warning messages. Everything else functions fine.

    Where do I start checking?

    Thank you

Fixed it. Jumped the two wires going into the neutral safety switch

That's a temp fix. You need to adjust the neutral safety switch to reflect neutral or you might wind up damaging your flywheel ring gear or starter. It's not hard.
