I have a 2011 Ski Nautique 200. My boat is in the water, when I am done using the boat for the day I select the Auto Bilge switch on (all the way down) and it doesnt seem to work? Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
The bilge should turn on for a moment to sense if there is water in the bilge, then if it finds nothing it will turn off and sit. Are you saying there is water in the bilge area and it doesn't fire?
As tachudda mentioned the bilge pumps are automatic and should pump when there is water in the bilge. I will tell you both the pumps in my 2011 stopped working after a few years. I replaced them last year and now all is good.
And they won't pick up unless there is not only water, but a good bit of water. More water than what I would think would be necessary for them to pump.

I would guess that they don't turn on with until there is 'X' amount of water to prevent draining battery any more than necessary. The occasional 'bump' they get takes almost no power. Just my .02
