08 SAN 230 '12v switch'

Trying to determine which wire is controlled by the '12V' button.. Want to hook underwater LED's to it but all that is in the wire harness are these four wires.

Red, black, orange or green - all they say is 'keypad' on them

Why not test with a multi meter?

Those four wires you have there just run the keypad. I wouldn't try to tap into those. The keypad wiring can be seen on this wiring diagram. I don't see the Accessory wires labeled though...

The wires for the buttons actually come off the black box (PME box) under the helm......... Not directly from the keypad. Weird concept , but it works. The keypad feeds into the PME box with those wires you have pictured. All the wires on the PME box are labeled . Like Jeff mentioned I don't see the 12v marked in the diagram , but Nautique has nice labels on all the wires. One thing I really appreciate.

2010 230 PME pinout.pdf Yep I understand the PME concept, and was pretty sure I could not tap into those wires. I had a 2009 230 years ago, which had a 12v button and the PME diagram I had for that, shows #11 for transom lights... This diagram just shows a 'plug'.... Thinking I can make a 'pin' somehow and tap that for the 12V button to work... Currently I have nothing that the 12v button controls... I did that for the 2009 but can't remember what i used or if I found one somewhere... Any ideas?

Best guess would be its same number simply because it's been the standard setup.
