Question for those with FAE pipe

I made a custom one for my boat. Just need to know the width of yours. The part that sits behind the prop.
I tested mine today and it does make my wake worse than before. Got little wash that wasn't there.

I may be able to get a measurement tomorrow. Yours looks much wider than the stock one, just going by the picture. Also, I believe the 230 has an extra wing on the Surf Pipe to knock down some spray, but it might just be the 210 that has that.

The exhaust pipe is tapered at the bottom and goes from round to oval with the width of the pipe getting skinnier left to right.should be able to get you measurements tomorrow

Ok mine is a 4in which I also tapered down but maybe not as much as I should. No wing on mine also.

No, the 210 should definitely have the wing. Here's a picture.

Pretty sure the 230 does, too. I think it has something to do with spray off of the hydro-gate.

Hi max, ive been thinking of doing the same but don't have access to one. If you took any measurements would you care to share them?
Mainly how far below the hull line does the lowest point of the pipe sit, and how far from the stern?

As from fae, the pipe sits 1.5 to 2.5 in higher than the middle of the prop. I set mine at 2in.

As for distance from transom, I tried to put mine closest to the boat to have the smallest lever.

I would agree, since that's when Nautique started offering the Surf Pipe. Any 210/230 with a Hydro-Gate will have the issue that the wing corrects though.

Anyone put the Nautique OEM Surf Pipe on a 2012 230? I know Nautiqueparts says it's for 2014 and up, but have confirmed installation on a 2013. Just can't find anyone who has put it on a 2012. Anyone?

Can't help you on that but just installed one on my 2014 230 and it's like a different boat! Very glad I did it. Install wasn't too bad.

Confirmed here on fin. Our 15 model 210 has fin on FAE

I have a 2009 210 with hydrogate, If I order a FAE pipe from them will it come with the fin ?

230 is same. We added one on our 220 from FAE and it was narrower at bottom or at deepest point and it did make the some spray but well worth it!
