Question for those with FAE pipe

Anyone put the Nautique OEM Surf Pipe on a 2012 230? I know Nautiqueparts says it's for 2014 and up, but have confirmed installation on a 2013. Just can't find anyone who has put it on a 2012. Anyone?

best of my knowledge the factory Nautique surf pipe requires a different muffler install to give you the surf pipe option. Not available on your 2012. The Nautique version and the actual FAE are two different items with two different methods of installation.

That is the biggest reason I would prefer the Nautique version over the FAE version. The installation looks so much "cleaner". Hate the look of rubber and pipe clamps on such a nice boat.

I'm not sure that all years with FAE came this way, but I think I read that the 2016s with FAE don't come with mufflers.

I owned a 2012 210. Purchased the pipe for a 2014 210 from Nautique parts. It had the wing on it and was described to fit 2014 and newer 210's. It fit perfect.

I have the FAE brand system on my 08 210 and don't notice it at all.

I did correct mine and went narrower at the bottom. I'm at 2.25in right now. Very little spray but now turning 200-300 rpm more for the same surf setting.
Are any of you experiencing a change in rpm? It make sense to me since there is something dragging into water right now.

didn't notice any change in RPM or spray only quieter and no fumes when surfing.
