best of my knowledge the factory Nautique surf pipe requires a different muffler install to give you the surf pipe option. Not available on your 2012. The Nautique version and the actual FAE are two different items with two different methods of installation.

I did correct mine and went narrower at the bottom. I'm at 2.25in right now. Very little spray but now turning 200-300 rpm more for the same surf setting.
Are any of you experiencing a change in rpm? It make sense to me since there is something dragging into water right now.
