2003 SAN with 330 Excalibur not cranking and cutting off while underway

So I did some reading and it seems like this problem is fairly common in these motors. I talked to nautiqueparts.com and gave them the serial number to make sure I got the right part. They sent me

RELAY, 12V, GM / FUEL PUMP TBI, # R130012

And it was plug and play. It cranked find this afternoon but it started raining so I didn't get to run it long. Only about ten minutes. I just wanted to post it incase anyone else had this problem. It was about $20 after shipping. You can probably get this part from an auto parts store since it is a GM vortec 5.7L block but I'm not mechanically savvy enough to know if there's a difference so I didn't try it. Plus it was about the same price. Thanks for all the good info on here for non mechanically inclined folks like me

Yes that sounds like it. Mine cranks now on the first try also. It'd be worth a try it's only a twenty dollar part. I don't have any Nautique dealers anywhere near me to take it to, and almost nobody works on inboards.

Make sure you check the power and ground wires. My 05 sante was starting and shutting off this year. The ground wires at the flywheel housing were loose. Boat has ran perfect since.
