    2011 SAN 230 add NSS?

My understand is you can add the NSS to a 2012. Can you add NSS to a 2011? I'm looking to buy a 2011 and would want to know this...Thanks in advance for any help.

yes and no, technically it needs the 2012 Linc 2.0... which a 2011 wouldn't have, and traditionally nautiques wouldn't even sell the hardware to a boat owner without a 2012 vin #. Rumor has it that is changing, you still won't be able to have it full integrated, but it can be done... search on here, others with pre-2012 boats have done it.

I added it to my 2008 210. Yes I k now different boat. In the end I still partially list even with the NSS. About the only advantage I see over an after
aftwrmarket suction cup gate or something like that is not having to physically attach it every time. Nice feature, but I think in the end those gates do what the NSS would do at a fraction of the cost. Whether you choose NSS or a add on hate it does help the wave tremendously. Personal call on what you feel is worth you time. But side by side. I have tested one homemade hate vs my NSS and the difference was negligible once we figured out the correct place for the gate

max 1.6 Sells after market plates. But you have to install them yourself. They are NSS clones.

But I agree with swatguy. If you don't mind the hassle, you could try the suck gate.

Or gosurfassist will work well on this hull if you want some automation and transfers. Suckgate is a good first try if you just want to see if you can get a better surf wave without spending a lot.
