Back fire, loosing power

2005 SANTE fine for awhile surfing then looses power & back fires have to idle back to dock? Any ideas?

Lots of things could cause loss of power and backfiring. Is this condition there all the time or only after a running normally for a while?

Cheapest thing is try new set of sparkplugs

Only after running for awhile. Have already replaced both fuel pumps, not sure if it's fuel problem or electrical?

Probably heat related then if it only happens after engine has operated normally for a period of time. Probably electrical, I second everyone else saying start with plugs, wires, cap and rotor (probably time for those items to be changed anyway?). cheap and if it doesn't work at least you just took care of your electrical systems preventive maintenance.
