Probably heat related then if it only happens after engine has operated normally for a period of time. Probably electrical, I second everyone else saying start with plugs, wires, cap and rotor (probably time for those items to be changed anyway?). cheap and if it doesn't work at least you just took care of your electrical systems preventive maintenance.
