I have an 87 Sport Nautique with a 351 Windsor.
Boat ran great last year.
This year, I noticed that when I am pulling a couple of tubes and there are several people in the boat, it takes a lot longer to plan out and it does not have the high end power it used to.
It feels like there is a "Powerband" and the boat just can't reach that "Powerband".
Now, sometimes it does and you can feel it and hear it. This is how the boat ran all last year.
Initially, I thought it might be transmission, but not too sure.
Now I am thinking it might be fuel filter or Carb.
Any ideas and what to do about it?
