2005 Air Nautique blower issue

I am having a problem with my blower. When I hit the button to turn it on it will turn on for about 5 seconds and then the breaker will pop. Since the blower is in a tough spot to get to I figured I would see what kind of checks I should do before ripping in to it. Is there a fuse for the blower? Any other help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help

I had this same problem with my shower pump. Hit the button and breaker would pop although my shower would not turn on. Pulled the shower pump motor apart and found that the

Motor was rusted and would not spin. Some WD40 and cleaning and it worked as normal. Maybe your motor is bound up enough to cause it to draw enough current to trip the breaker?

^^Agreed...seems like I replace my blower about every other year. The bearings go out, it seizes up and trips the breaker.
