2005 226 6.0 liter starts idles for a few seconds then dies

I have a 2005 226 with about 280hrs. Ran fine for a few hours this morning. Started fine this afternoon. Was getting ready to surf, when it died. Now it will start, but will die after a few seconds and the low oil pressure alarm goes off when it dies. Any thoughts?

I had a similar situation on my 2005 210. Found the ground wires on the engine loose. Loose wires were on the left side of the engine sitting in the seat.

I think that I have it tracked down to my volume fuel pump. I took the FCC canister off and it was not full of fuel.
