I have a 1993 Ski Nautique. I recently had to put in a new clutch pack and took it out to test yesterday and it went into gear fine went into reverse fine. Then after being on the water for a little while it began to hesitate as I would try to go forward. Reverse had no hesitation and worked fine. Forward gear was the only problem. I checked the fluid and it looked good not cloudy or low, I am using the Dextron III as specified on the transmission. I did notice the transmission did seem hotter than I would expect though. Could this be a symptom of getting to hot and need to check the in line cooler? Or something else?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
