07 SAN 236- cooler floor drain not draining

Long story short is that I have my cousins 236 at my house for the rest of the month. Wanted to perform a nice gesture and completely cleaned all interior vinyl as the boat sits outside uncovered in the water most of the year and hasn't had a deep clean in 2 years. Problem is, after rinsing everything, I have about 3" of water pooled in the recess for the cooler in the starboard rear part of the arena.

I have the cooler out of the space and took the chrome grate off to see if it was a plugged hose. Come to find that the top deck which the cooler sits on overlays another floor about 1.5" below and there is nothing to "unclog" that I can tell since the subfloor runs both laterally and forward/back the same size as the cooler floor area.

I tried to take a running hose and jam it through the hole and all the way sideways and back to see if the water pressure would dislodge anything. Eventually water was seeping through the carpet under the right rear seat but quit doing so when the hose was turned off.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss. Thinking maybe the subfloor has a "lip" of sorts whereby unless the water flows over it, it's not goin anywhere.

    Thanks,

    Kyle

You could try a long, somewhat flexible snake... Otherwise just get a shopvac and you're done a 5 minutes...

Yeh I think I'll do the shopvac idea. I pulled the carpet back from the sides underneath the corner bench and it is as I expected. There is a lip that the water has to flow over in order to fully drain from that area. Thanks!
