Damaged propeller and impact on engine

I hit some rocks a few days ago but the boat ran normally. However, I was going in excess of 32 mph yesterday and upon slowing down, the engine ran very rough. I pulled the boat out of the water this morning and found that each blade had damage with bends on each tip (photo attached). I heard that a damaged prop can hurt the engine and related performance. I would appreciate any expert opinion on this topic. Thank you.

I've had the pleasure of dinging 3 props in my life - all different boats. I had incredible vibration in the Nautique when it happened. But on all 3, I have NEVER caused any damage beyond the prop itself. Only caveat is I did not run the boats for more than 30 mins in that condition.

What is halfway between your strut and hull on the shaft?

I agree with Shag... that something that is on the shaft, could be causing a miss-balance. Ensure that the shaft and prop are clean of any foreign objects.
