    Loose part in 2000 SAN

    I found this part loose in the engine compartment of our 2000 super air. Does anyone know what this is / where is goes? Click image for larger version

    Looks like a strainer for a bilge pump.

        Yup as mentioned bilge strainer. Keeps debri from clogging up your bilge pump

          The thing is that it should be screwed/glued to the bottom of the boat - you'll probably find a circular gauze kicking around in the bilge too. alternatively if you have both pump strainers still in place then this was the "spare" left over after someone replaced a faulty bilge pump into one of the existing strainers.
