have a 2015 210 with the pcm 5.7 mpi. was running fine when out wakesurfing for about 35 minutes, turned off to change riders then only turns over but no attempt to start- since new the boat would always crank several times when we started it after running for a while then turning off to change riders- so i just thought it was happening again. this time had to get towed in. it acts like it is vapor locking but they say its not possible with fuel injection. i assumed it could have been flooded but after the boat sat for 12 hours still would not start. it has spark but appears to be weak... any ideas?

no i did try removing and placing back on and could hear the fuel pumps cycle. ihave check the fuel pressure and that is good it has spark but could be weak. dealer is far away so trying to do some trouble shooting. dealer said thought it could be a bad lanyard but not sure why it would have spark and fuel. dealer also weak spark could be because of something wrong in the ecm. i am think the coil might be bad but can figure out why it would have done this since new its only 14 months old anyway with 100 hours. i had a 2014 that did the same thing but always started had that boat to the dealer and they told me nothing was wrong so i figured that is how they all ran?

yes, for 2015 it is drive by wire. it will turn over just wont fire. i am guessing a bad or weak coil or bad rotor- really want to see if this has happened to anyone else. it is under warranty so it will get fixed but just like when i had the 2014 and the stage 1 overheat kept warning on the linc system no one would listen to me and then mysteriously pcm came out with a service bulletin one year later adjusting the stage 1 temp from 175 to 219 because no one consider the cat engine would run hotter especially after beiing shut off for a brief period while switching riders
