    Intermittent lack of power with diacom results 06 SAN TE ZR6

    Hi I am having a bit of trouble with an 06 SAN 210 TE I recently bought. It started with it being in limp mode with an error message Ignition fault see dealer. I replaced the throttle position sensor and sorted that problem. It has LPG and petrol and on LPG it runs perfectly but on petrol it doesn't give full power. Strangely for about 3 days it seemed to clear itself and ran well but now it is back to giving me reduced power. Initially it seemed to be in limp mode but it isn't anymore as the lack of power can happen at any rpm that it decides rather than the 2500 RPM that it did before. Again at the start when it was at idle it ran well but now it seems to want to cut out and then adds a little power to stop that and it never actually cuts out. I don't want to start replacing a lot of different parts (the TAC or ECM) to source the problem if I don't need to as there are no PCM dealers or really anyone with a similar boat nearby. I should add that the problem only happens under load, it will operate normally with the neutral lockout pressed at all RPMs and sometimes revving the boat in neutral can clear the problem but that could be a coincidence.

    Not much help on this problem but in case someone has something similar in the future I thought I would update the thread. A lot of troubleshooting found me at the ECM and more specifically a faulty injector driver. Send it to PCM who agreed and plugged a new on in today and all is well again. If anyone comes across a similar problem in the future feel free to message and Ill give more details as swapping out an ECM is expensive if you are not sure its the right part!
