    GT 40 Noise

Have a GT40 with 900 hours. After warming up and usually after a ski run a clicking noise sort of like two rocks clicking together begins in the area of circulation water pump. Click---Click---Click-----------Click ---Click------Click, a irregular regular noise. No squeel, and not at start up. Can't tell if water pump, alternator, or something in engine. Any ideas?

Could be an exhaust leak at the manifold. That makes a distinct clicking noise. May want to break out the stethescope (sp). I'd put my money on that.

I'd second the exhaust leak. If it's not that, it's probably a tappet sticking or something.
