help with high oil pressure PCM 343

we bought a used 2007 210 last fall with a new short block installed with all the previous 2007 PCM components attached ie intake manifold, heads, exhaust manifolds exc
It has had extremely high oil pressure since I have had it, and have had a bunch of oil leeks along with it ,timing cover oil pan ,intake manifold
Starts cold at 60 psi once you warm it up it sits at 55 psi when you start running it at 3000 rpm goes up past 80 psi on the boat gage and throws a fault code of high oil pressure
I put a manual gage on the motor and ran it up to 3000 rpm and it goes up to 120 psi
were running 20-50 weight oil same at I run in my 200

Any one seen this before or have any suggestions
    Thanks
    Jim

Not sure if it would make a significant difference but check your manual, believe you should really be running 15W40.

I may know less than the average mechanic, but have you checked oil level on the dipstick? I've always thought if you overfill you can run your pressure up too high.

Run thinner oil, oil passages are designed for 15-40 not 20-50. That will solve your issues. Oil weigh does matter. Thicker is not always better, use what it was designed to run. If it's cold climate you might even want to run 10-30. I know the old owners manuals suggested lighter oils in cooler climates. One more thing - LET IT WARM UP! I've seen a boat spin a crank bearing when the owner threw the hammer down with a cold engine block. Cheap insurance.
