Keel guards

Anyone ever put a keel guard on a Nautique. I know plenty of you will think it's criminal to beach a Nautique, but I do- there's lots of places... Beaches and the channel that you aren't allowed to throw an anchor so.... Has anyone ever done it? have experience with placing it? Good or bad reviews? Suggestions?

I put a keel guard on my last boat as loading and unloading on the trailer so much was causing wear from center roller. It held strong for 900hrs and never needed a touch up. The key is putting it on during a warm sunny day. Leave it out to soften and make sure you prep the surface well. It can be done solo , but way easier w two.

I put one on my Yamaha boat.

Follow the instructions. Do it on a hot day when the rubber keel guard has been laying in the sun to be hot, flexible and pliable.

center the guard placement on the area you've already scuffed up from beaching it.
