Hey guys this is my first post, I have a 1994 ski nautique with the carberated 351 I belive. I have a tough time starting it even after warm starts and need to pump in allot of gas, and when I am just cruising the rpms drop and are very speratic. I do belive this to be a fuel problem. Does my carb just need to be adjusted? and if so how can I go about tuning it?

RE: 94 ski naut carb problem
Check your engine, the 94's had a one year only throttle body injection system derived from an Edelbrock system. Carb's were offerred in 94 but most boats had the TBI. They are notorious for having troubles but they also run very strong when they are tuned correctly. I have no idea how to tune the TBI system. If it does have a carb a rebuild and float setting is probably in order, that should bring it back to new running condition.

RE: 94 ski naut carb problem
If it's a carb, try resetting the choke. It'd be worth a shot before you went through the trouble of rebuilding.
Losten the 3 or so set screws, watch the choke flap, and with the engine cold turn the round black thing until the choke flap just closes.2018 SAN 230
