    2006 226 ballast problems

    Hi guys , I have a 2006 226 my port ballast gauge stopped working then with in days the starboard . Then the port and starboard pumps will fill but now not empty .
    Can anyone help ?

    Won't empty if gauge reads empty to protect pump impeller pull sender in tank as I suspect you will find that it's bent. Can't remember if the 226 has the 3 pumps together but if so you can remove the plug from the middle pump and plug into either side You may have to select fill on the belly to empty the rear tanks as the belly wiring at the plug is backwards to the rear pumps

          The problem was a bad electrical connection , hard to find as it was under the floor . All fixed now and ready for the weekend .
