Hi all. I've been looking for a used SAN210, and came across a coastal edition. It appears to be in fair shape, but the engine pulleys, alternator and riser gasket has a little bit of corrosion / rust. What else should I be concerned about in terms of wear/tear on this boat. It's closed cooled. I would like find replacement pulleys and swap out the gasket/alternator.

Risers need to be checked for rust since salt sits in them.
trailer galvanized?
Spray everything with corrosion X. motor mounts also.
if it's just surface rust scotch Brite pad. and wipe respray.
I spray everything metal down every other trip and extra good for winter in engine bay.Last edited by Outdoorjp; 12-01-2016, 01:04 PM.

What year is it? When I lived in a saltwater environment, the electrical and wiring were my biggest issues. If you are able to, pull a few wires to see how they look.

I'd probably remove the pulleys and have them powder coated.
I use my boat in a salt water lagoon and spray all the fasteners and any exposed metal in the engine bay with CRC heavy duty corrosion inhibitor. It is like an aerosol version of cosmoline (yellow wax which drys over exposed metal hardware). I apply it to the trailer chains, fasteners, etc. It works great. Buy it at Amazon.
