2010 230 adding a heater: Do I need the circulation pump on a closed cooling system?

I'm wanting to add a heater to our 2010 230 with a ZR409. With the closed cooling system do I need to add a circulation pump?
Has anyone had a heater installed without the pump and then added it?

I would think not, on my SBC with open cooling the heater hoses connect at the water pump and the intake manifold, no pump req'd. What does Heatercraft recommend??

I had a heater installed on my ZR450, no circulation pump and it works great!

I have the heater in my 2009. No pump needed.

Dunno, my buddy had the closed cooling system on his 230 and no circulation pump and my 210 warms better with the low idle y than his did.
