Same thing here w my 17G23. Starboard says 100% full, I empty, go to the music screen, the tank status screen, and the ballast says 100% again. How many hours are those pump impellers rated.for ?

We got 30 hours out of one, and the rest are still stock. One side was having issues filling and replaced it. Old impeller looked brand new, but that fixed our issue.

I have 300 hours on my 2016 impellers and they still seem to be working fine. I will be replacing them right away, just because I am a fan of keeping things in top shape and not replacing them once they break. Then I will have 3 spares when the new ones fail after 30 hours

I was pretty sure the G series monitored levels using a flow sensor. I thought I remember this when I had to swap out a ballast bag and had to cement it into the bag.

UPDATE : We have had Link/ Ballast problem 99% resolved Dealer replaced flow sensors & updated the link, 1% problem we can work with meaning after pulling boat out at ramp car park was not level showed incorrect ballast but corrected its self after travelling home & stored in level garage

We found best way to check if ballast impellers are worn is set link to pro rider fill ballast after pumps have stopped manually over fill each one if water not coming out overflows within 30 seconds we know its time to replace impeller normally get around 200 hours or 2 seasons before need replacing which do all 3 at once

We have a 2017 GS20, no problems first year. This year port ballast showed 63% full when boat went into water. ballast was actually empty. Can drain until indicator shows 0%. When we go to fill the level goes immediately to 100% and stops, ballast is still empty. Now also does same on belly ballast. Currently can't use any ballast as only the starboard will fill/drain. No faults shown. Any way to override the auto shutoff when level shows 100%? Dealer wants back to look at but we are 3 hours away.

scroll to the ballast screen and manually push ballast fill instead of using rider profiles. they should still run regardless of what percent the screen says the tanks are at.

Thanks Wakerider107! We will give that a try. We will try at 15-20 mph also just in case pumps are not primed.

while sitting still with motor off, you should hear the pumps pull water. it will be a consistent hum. if you hear gurgling, its not pulling water for one reason or another and should be shutoff so they dont burn out.

my screen hasnt shown accurate levels since i got the boat. they say 100%, but if i cycle the pumps again they will run for a couple more minutes before spitting out the side of the boat.

Came across this for 2016 models. I am sure it applies to most LINCs

Just took delivery of ‘18 G21 with 30hrs. My first Nautique. First ride port ballast won’t discharge - dealer replaced pump and all good. Back on water next weekend and now having issues as noted above with stbd ballast display showing 100pct when clearly empty. No matter how much attempt to drain, snaps back to 100pct immediately upon trying to fill. Short-term going to try and disconnect sensor located at very back stbd side engine compartment and see if it fills. Real fix is new sensor it seems. Ugh!

It needs a new sensor. They get water inside the connectors and Corrode internally. Nautique still doesn’t have a real “fix” and will continue to pay for replacements until a better sensor is obtained. When the ballast reads 100% and you know it’s actually empty, scroll down to the settings screen and then choose a screen that I believe says “power diagnostics” tell me what the suspect sensor voltage reading voltage is in the lower rh corner of the screen.

ID:	584205 I took a pic. look at voltage. There was a g23 nearby and I asked for readings. He had all 0.9ish.
