Hello all, I have a 2007 SANTE with about 300 hours on it. I recently had the check engine light come on. I took it to my mechanic who said the code was pulling the electronic throttle control code. Does anyone know what could cause that or how to repair it?

I just replaced my potentiometer on my 2007 210 its was very simple 2 screws and a electrical pig tail took about 15 min. The cost was around $250
I think they do just fail after time -
