196 with no throttle

My 2006 196 ZR6 starts and runs but has no throttle control ie won't rev up, also noticed Rev counter doesn't work although this may be unrelated. Any ideas as to why I can't rev engine ?

I think 06 was when drive by wire was introduced, I'd pull the engine cover off and make sure the throttle cable is working correctly and moving the electronic throttle control. Could be something with the throttle position sensor maybe?

Tps broken. I also had this with our 2007 zr6. Quick fix.

The rpm gauge has nothing to do with the no throttle problem , i would advice to replace the Throttle position sensor if the cable is working properly
