location of control box (gateway?) for 2001 Super Air

I'm looking for the location of the Gateway box (I think) for my 2001 Super Air. Can anyone tell me where to look, please?

I'm doing some wiring upgrades (replacement tach and from old Perfect Pass to new Hydrophase speed control) and have been troubleshooting why the dash lights come on with accessory on vs. with navigation lights button on the control panel.
I've found the wiring diagrams, but they don't tell me the location of the control box (I believe this is the Faria Gateway).

Note, I find many more references to Faria Gateway for 2003 and up but am assuming I have one too since I have the keyless and soft button controls vs. old circuit breaker style dash.

I only know for the 2004 I had but it was mounted to the transom directly behind the engine.

Got it. Thank you. Would that be above the muffler?
anyone know definitively about the 2001? This is still a GT40 Engine with cable-actuated throttle. It appears the later engines are TBW and maybe have different electronics.
