550 supercharger?

I looked at different octane boost products and there are lots of race guys who say the Torco (link below) works great bringing the octane up enough for racing, should be good enough for surfing? I just bought the boat and at our lake the best I can get is 91 and sometimes only 87, I will have no choice but to use it and hope it works...
