    2004 sante 210

I'm looking at purchasing 2004 sante 210 and just had a buyers check sone on it. Cold all cylinders were 195 except 6, it was 185. Warm all cylinders were 200 except 6, it was 190. What is normal compression for the PCM 330 and should I stay away? New to towboats and this is for my son, so I would rather not purchase a headache. Thanks in advance

I'm not a die hard engine guy, but those numbers sound fine. I'll see if I can find the compression sheet from my last boat purchase but I had one cylinder that was a little lower.

No problem, but to warn you, my boat is the 6.0L different motors etc. it's not exactly apples to apples.

BTW my last boat was a 04 210, loved it!

Sounds good. Just trying to see discrepancies. I'm pumped, never had a towboat.

I can't find the condition report the dealer gave me when I bought my boat, but I looked at PCMs website for info. Stick with me here... The oldest owners manual they have online is for 2007 but it was the same engine. The compression range listed is 130-215 psi.

            http://www.pcmengines.com/media/imag...nual-2007A.pdf page 58

Like I said before I'm not an engine guy and quite possibly am giving you poor free information on the interwebs. So you'll want to try to verify.
