    Used parts

Thinking about upgrading my 2013 G23 to the newer v-drive and bigger prop. Anyone aware of a place to sell the used parts? The new v-drive is quite pricey... figured I could offset some of the cost if I could sell the old one. Any ideas?

With enough money you can make this happen, but is it really a reasonable direction? You're going to put thousands into this and never be able to recover the investment when you sell the boat.

Yes it is. Couple reasons why: 1) I got such a good deal on their boat the total cost would be less than upgrading to a 2014 or newer. 2) I sold my 2003 to get this boat last year. Worked out to be about 2700 hours on the old boat. So the investment would be long term.

methinks you need more than vdrive...you need new propeller, shaft, shaft coupler, shaft seal, shaft strut, shaft bearing...

not saying you should not do it...but i think the new vdrive is bigger diamater shaft...

p.s. it is somewhat unlikely you will be able to sell the old one...possible, but small market

p.s.s. i just relooked at your ad...i don't think i ever found anyone selling used stuff...but if you find a used boat parting out i am looking for the squareish gps puck...
