This doesn't make sense to me. I know on some of the models like the 230, they offer a "Pro Ballast" option. With this, all they do is edit the settings in the LINC Dealer Menu to run longer. Wouldn't that work?

As far as I am concerned, there is no ballast timer adjustments that can be done through the LINC dealer settings. I will check in a couple weeks when I get my boat ready for summer.
Anybody ever figure this out? I'd be surprised if there wasn't a way to adjust the timer settings through the dealer software.
There isn't. I had my dealer walk me through the Dealer Settings and the Pro Ballast is either YES or NO. There's no number to change, at least from the dealer settings.

Well dang, that sucks. You would think they would put in a number for that given how many people upgrade their ballast on these boats.

I think as time moves forward this will become a larger issue for owners. While I had my G23 in for some warranty issues , one of items I had the dealer to address was that the ballast timers were off and not filling to adequate levels. With this issue is there anyway to override the timers? I will post the dealer's response once I receive my boat back from the them.

So the levels and timers on my 230 got out of whack earlier this summer. After a lot of testing, I finally found a resolution. I figured out that actual level in the tank was not lined up with what the LINC "thought" they were. Here's how I sorted it out:
- I got out on the lake and selected my setting for "Wakesurf Full" which fills all ballast to 100%. Now, the trick here is to let the pumps run until all of the tanks are flowing out of the overflows AND the LINC shows 100% AND don't shut the pumps manually. Let them run until they shut themselves off.
- Next, select "Back to Dock" and just sit there while they drain. The trick here is to let it run until the pumps stop on their own. Yes, you'll hear the pumps making "that noise" which tells you they're empty. Don't manually stop the pumps. Let them run until everything reads zero, the tanks are empty and the pumps stop on their own. I know this can be a bit painful listening to the pumps complain but it will reset everything.
As far as custom settings go, yes, there most certainly has to be a way to adjust these timers. After all, Nautique had to set them for 800 pounds of extra ballast with the Pro Ballast option rather than 700 or 900. As it is now, this could only be changed in the firmware which would require access to that.
Hopefully with new Linc system they can just update the firmware and we can all get access. Would make life so much simpler. I can't imagine the engineers testing these boats haven't noticed this yet.
