Engine hours glitch?

So I've only had this boat for a few days. 2013 San 230. Leaving the dealership it had 156 hrs. Tonight I was messing around with the link system trying to figure out a few things and noticed that the engine hours are on zero now. It's got me rethinking this entire deal. Any suggestions? Thanks

Entering the code and pressing start once will not power up the ECU on the engine. The LINC reads the engine hours from there. Press start one more time (so that both little lights by the start button are on) and your hours should display.

Same thing on hours but it did open up the water temp and depth.

I wouldn't think the engine would need to be running to get it to display right? Thanks
