A $25 DVOM from the auto parts or box home improvement store will help you with that. Voltage is nothing more than a difference in potential. If you test across both ends of a cable and measure voltage, theres an issue.

I'm sorry. I have a multi meter but where to do I put the red and black connections to test, should it test at 0

For measuring voltage drop across individual wires on the ground side, put black on battery Ground. Measure at various grounding points, DC Voltage. The difference should be 0.00 or very close. Something approaching .5V or more suggests voltage drop and worth further exploration or replacement of a cable.

Same on the positive wires. black on 12V+ terminal on the battery. Then measure voltage across various cables.

Realistically, you probably won't see much if any voltage drop without accessories on, consuming current. I'd probably suggest that test with the engine running, accessories and stereo on, etc.

i think you have too many grounds and your getting ground loop and noise in the stereo. ground the second battery to the stock one. remove the ground to the ground bar, that bar is just connected to the battery eventually any way.

In searching on some related topics to further assist, I found this thread. Looks like some of the info there may be helpful.

Thank you all for your replies. I am going to try to eliminate some of the grounds today, and do a voltage test on all the wires. Once I eliminate the "noise" I will address the Fuel Gauge and Fuel Light issues.

              THANK AGAIN!
