High oil pressure on my 89 Nautique?

Hello, I changed the oil last year (5 quarts with filter) and I was getting a high oil level on my dip stick. I drained 1 quart out and now it is just a tad over the full line. I ran the boat last year for about five minets with the high oil level. I started it for the first time this year and now my oil pressure guage is reading 75 to 80 all the time even after it is warmed up. The boat runs fine but I am worried about the pressure readings. Any ideas before I spend the money bringing it to the shop. Thanks Ken

It is probably the sending unit...replace it.

Davidf it also could be the gauge but normally it is the sender but double check your connections on the back of the gauges .
