Second prop for g23 with the 550

I am looking to get a second prop for my 2016 G23 with the 550.
I will be running the boat at about 6200 feet. Any suggestions? Thanks

For Tahoe I would drop 2-3 degrees of pitch.
I have heard that the G-23s do not do well at altitude. When the G-23 first came out a friend put on an event called Rock the Wake. It was at an altitude of 4400 ft. A Nautique dealer brought up a G-23 without the 550 to be used as the tow boat and when full of ballast it could not pull a boarder. The dealer had to take the boat back and returned with a 550 version. The G-23 with 550 did fine but you are talking about 6200 ft. I would drop 3 degrees and or call either one of these marinas and ask. A supercharged version will not be affected at altitude like a natural aspirated motor.

The more I thought about it, with the forced induction you will only lose about 8%of your HP at altitude. Verses 28% for a naturally aspirated motor. You probably only need to drop 1 -degree of pitch, 2 at the most.
