How to drain coolant ZR6

Is anybody able to give me a step by step on how to drain the coolant from a 2006 ZR6. I have checked the manuals and can't seem to see where the cylinder block drains plugs are located on the 6 litre. Also does it really take 17 litres when I refill it? I can't get dex-cool or many of the American alternatives in Europe so any suggestions on what fluid to use to replace would be great also.
