Just finished my last winter project. With help from member write up I was able to plan out my new walk through. The pictures aren't the best but I wanted to take a few shots of the final product.

Looks like newer Nautique! What was the cost of the seadeck? I was thinking about doing it on my boat. Take a better picture, please.

I paid $350.00 for the engine cover, and two other smaller pieces from Gator Step. They matched my current flooring perfectly. I will get some better pictures today.

I like that. I have a 07 220 and my motor cover has a small tear and was going to replace skin but I like this idea. What did you do about the pull up hatch to access the warming tray?

Markj, thank you for the comments. I've had the boat out 5 times so far. What a difference it is having the decking to walk on instead of the vinyl.

Wow!!! That looks so trick! Does the 2006 have the ski rope access for the warming drawer? I have a 2007 and you can access the ski ropes by either opening the warming drawer hatch or lifting a mini-compartment at the top back of the cover.

8urchvy, I don't have the use of that door anymore. I gave it up to have the walk through. Don't regret it at all.

What did you have to do to add the seadeck? Just remove the vinyl and padding?

                      Thanks!

When I removed the vinyl and padding the fiberglass was unfinished and stepped down about an inch from the two storage hatches. I bought 3/4'' poly board that I glued and screwed I to the hatch cover, I then routed the edges for a cleaner look. The Gator Step flooring was applied over the poly board.

How much does the latch protrude up from the top of the finished flooring? Had you considered using a thicker poly board or would that had made it an awkward transition up from the fiberglass on the transom and behind the back seat. I'm currently in the middle of the project and would appreciate any insight. Your final product looks great!
