Fresh air exhaust for 2001 196

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has put a fresh air exhaust on a 196? Did it effect the wake at all for skiing? Performance? Thanks

I see a short (6") rooster maybe 20' from the boat at above 20 mph from my FAE. I'd speculate it wouldn't affect your ski wake.

We put one on our 2002 196. No noticeable change in the slalom wake, but for tricks the area between the wakes was more turbulent, so we took it off.
