    Pro Air ballast problems

I can't drain the ballast system in my Pro Air other than removing the intake hose and let it drain in the bilge which of course is a bit tedious.

Where is that drain pump located?
(the fill pump is next to the engine in the front)

Also the small LED light doesn't work on the starboard panel on the ballast drain switch. Are these panels know to break?

I need to find out if it is a faulty drain pump or a broken panel.

I've replaced the fill pump last season and it works ok now.

btw I got the vent system which lets air go in our out of the tanks while filling.

    RE: Pro Air ballast problems

From looking in the forums some call the boat "Air Nautique". I don't know if it is different.
    Anyway it's a year 2000 model.

      Hi Peter,

The Pro Air model has a bit different hull then the Air model.
But the ballast system is the same on both boats. The drain pump is in serie with the fill pump. If you know where the fill pump is, the drain pump should be 10 inches behind it. Check if the pump get powered. If not check the breaker panels. These things can go bad after a while.

        Thanks located the pump!
The pump was broken so I replaced it with a spare.
Both pumps are working now and soon the boat will be in the water!
        Have a great summer!
