2016 SAN 210 with stock motor

Does anybody know if they make a "chip" or what you can do to improve horsepower?
    Thanks

The best thing you can do is get a lower pitched prop.

Yes I did that already, but was hoping you can tune/upgrade somehow.
      Thanks

I would think it would be somehow possible to tune with hp tuners or efi live. Not sure completely though. I've got my Chevy 5.3 custom tuned for aftermarket cam lifters heads and valve springs. Makes a big difference in a truck that's forsure.

My understanding is that the ecm is locked down by PCM. It also uses MEFI and doesn't have a functional OBD port. You would basically have to wipe the ecm and start fresh or use a different one. I think (could be wrong) that mercruiser has an ecm that is unlocked. Do-able, but not easy. Probably best to get different prop. Second best, trade in boat for one with bigger engine.

Probably the only reason i notice a differnce is my old 2008 had ZR motor. Otherwise great all around boat.

The new 210's also weigh 300+ pounds more.

Yea Lucky what Van said is what I have always heard/read, PCM has things locked down since the GT-40. Would be interesting to hear what your Tuner guy thinks, if there was a hot tune available for my Excalibur I would probably buy it.
