This fall I replaced the FCC fuel filter as it was my first year with this boat and not sure when it was done before. Took canister/bowl off and cleaned up and changed filter. I also took both of those plugs out of the bottom to clean up. Weird design and I wonder why they put a plug inside a second nut. Anyway, I followed directions by using a fuel resistant sealant to the plug. Just found while getting ready for spring it has a slight drip from those bottom threads. Anyone else experience this or should I just pull plug and reseal it up? Also, I believe the first nut had an o-ring so it should be good without sealant right?
