    Issues with 2017 LINC Panoray touchscreen

    We are coming up on 50 hours on our 2017 G23 since taking delivery in October and, overall, it's been an amazing experience and we're glad we made the switch from Malibu.

    We do have one persistent issue that the dealer and Nautique can't seem to get their arms wrapped around. This is with the LINC Panoray touchscreen displaying various odd behaviors -- such as showing the Source as switching between Bluetooth and AM Radio with no input from me -- and worst case even losing the ability to control the stereo head unit entirely.

    Multiple repairs have been completed including replacing the touchscreen, the head unit and most recently the entire wiring harness between the touchscreen and head unit. All of these repairs have proven unsuccessful.

    Our dealer has provided otherwise superb service and they are as frustrated as we are that it's not fixed.

    What's even more crazy is that I have a friend on our lake that just took delivery of a new G23 this weekend and he's experiencing the same Bluetooth to AM "phantom switching" issue as well, but I have not heard anyone else here on PN mention the issue.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue? I would love to hear of a successful repair outcome if you have.

    I have been having this same issue since day 1. They re-flashed the computer on the LINC system. It helped a little but it still goes back and forth between bluetooth and FM radio. I have noticed that if its playing off my phone via bluetooth it will stay on bluetooth even though its jumping around. I am hoping its a software update down the road but the issue still persists. I thought maybe it was a device issue with the iphone. Have you tried connecting with an android device or something else? I have not but I am curious to see if it still does it.

        I only bring it up since my wife's BWM was having very similar issues. We could not figure it out until the dealer called and the sales manager was trying to figure it out. It ended up being an issue with the iPhone software, not the car. I am hoping that is the issue as its easier to wait for an apple update instead of getting the boat serviced.

          Oh no. I hate seeing this... I have a 2012 with a Linc that has a ghost living inside it... Took ownership in 15... Been fighting with it ever since. Multiple flashes and upgrades have been unsuccessful. At the point where I am debating running a separate remote to the driver's side like my old 210 (I would miss the auto volume adjust (a feature I really enjoy) and the dash really doesn't have a good spot for it) -OR- trading up to a newer boat... Hearing the new ones have issues really scares me. Hope you have better luck than ive had

            So does it actually change the music as well? Or does stay playing the same music, just shows the different sources?

                The most common issue is where it looks like the Source is changing, but it's actually not. The less common issue is where you lose the ability to control the stereo at all from the touchscreen.

                      My friend just took delivery of a new 2017 G23 last week and he's experiencing the exact same issues. Here are his notes. Hopefully Nautique will get to the bottom of this issue.

                      "the audio system completely locked up while we were out on the water. I could only control the volume by my iPhone. The source switching did not even work. It was completely jammed. I had to turn off the entire boat (while I had a cold surfer in the water) and turn off the battery to re-start it."

                        I am having the exact same issue. Of course my dealer tells me there is no issue and it is just me. 50% of the time if I pause BT music, I have to repair the phone. I had a video that I showed the dealer, they said it was normal. Hopefully they will get it fixed with software update.

                            You should push the issue with your dealer. Nautique has told my dealer they are aware of the problem and they're working on a fix.

                              I would push your dealer. That doesn't sound normal, dealer and stereo☹. Call the factory and see if the Q&A Dept agrees. I'm sure they don't want the negative's out there especially at prices they are getting for these boats. Just my .03..Good luck.
