Have a 2012 210 with Linc. It boots and goes to the Nautique screen and then flash's. Never comes up with guages etc. Would not take an update either.
Ideas?

I just had a similar problem on my 2017. Ran for a little bit, then blacked out. It would bring up "booting..." then nothing. Boat would still run, of course. Dealer said display is fried. Getting a new one under warranty.
I doubt this will help you but I had a slightly different problem and during the course of debugging I found some other issues. On my old 2012 230, the LINC screen would periodically not come on. I ultimately had the dealer replace it. However, in my attempt to diagnose, I removed the four front bezel screws, gently pulled out the LINC unit out and found a couple of terminal strips mounted back inside the dash. Several of the ground wires were completely loose. I tightened everything up but it didn't help with the LINC. However, it fixed my lighting flickering problem I was having. I also tried to re-seat the plugs in the LINC unit. The USB cable was the most delicate so be careful with it.
Maybe you'll have better luck and it wouldn't hurt to check anyway.
On the 230 I could also access this area from underneath by removing the panel underneath the helm. But be advised it's a wiring nest up in there so make sure you have good lighting and move carefully.
