Tight steering

So I just got my 2014 G23 out of storage. The steering feels really tight to me. Any ideas.

Tight steering usually means the steering cable is going bad. It seems premature on a 2014 boat. Are you using it in salt water? That could possibly cause premature failure.

Yes. It's a coastal edition and I use it in brackish water

Agreed, sounds like you need a new steering cable. In the future, turn your steering all the way to right, which pulls the cable all the way into the sheath. This will prolong the life of it.

Not sure, but that might be a warranty claim since the boat is likely less than three years old.
