2002 sante LCS issues

Hey guys, hoping someone can help!

I have just purchased a 2002 sante with the 330 Excalibur. Love the boat but still trying to understand ballast system!
3 pumps to fill and 3 separate pumps to empty (2 x rear and 1 x belly) each fill pump has valve to open prior to filling.
my question is.. once full, do they need to be closed again or can they be left open?
I was riding yesterday and I noticed water pouring out of holes on driver side of boat and that right rear hard tank had emptied itself!
Empty pump was not going.. just from force of acceleration or angle of boat maybe??
any advice would be appreciated!

If you leave the valves open, the tanks will slowly drain if you're sitting still. Closed or open, you will get water pouring out of the vents on the sides of the boat. Totally normal.

Thanks Charles! Don't have anything to compare to so glad to know that it's normal!
I'll be sure to close after filling!
