Observer's seat gas struts

Nautique parts steered me wrong, they indicated a 80lb gas lift struts for my observer's seat. When I got the struts, it didn't do the job. Does anybody know the real value for the gas struts on an 03 or similar observers seat?
Luckily I can use the 80lbs ones on the rear lockers but, I don't want to order two more only to find they're still not strong enough.

Do you still have the old gas springs? They're usually pretty clearly marked with the lengths, strength, etc.
