    2015 G23 Bent NSS Plate

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with changing out an NSS Plate and actuator on a 2015 G23. I hit a submerged log in the river today and it bent my NSS plate and it is unable to retract. I have not taken the cover off the NSS plate to see if the actuator is bent but plan to change it anyway.

probably you can take it apart and bend it back...or pound it flat with a mallet or hammer...

I've not done it, but on my 2015, I had a leak where the factory forgot to put adequate sealant on all of the NSS mounting holes on the port side. So I have seen it taken apart. It really is not a complex design, and you could do it yourself without too much trouble. I would bet the actuator is not bent, and try to save it just because the most difficult and important part of the job would be the wires on the actuator.

It's just a screw gun that puts them in with caulking
